MEHEN Food Machine Manufacture Co., Ltd. was established in 1999. With 20+ years of experience in the industry of complete sets of Commercial Ice Cream Equipment, we have mastered core technology and hold over 80 patents. MEHEN products have been sold to over 170 countries/regions around the world; MEHEN also cooperates with regional distributors and service providers in 15 countries including Italy, the United States, Australia, Turkey, Germany, and Chile. MEHEN has been a gold supplier for many large and well-known chain brands both domestically and internationally, and is a renowned equipment manufacturer in the ice cream industry.

FOUNDING STORY

In early 1995, even a beautiful city in China, ice cream was always in mind with only a small popsicle in normal freezers. Most people don’t know how attractive it could be. Even though, we could still enjoy the cold feeling in a summer afternoon when we were children.

Time goes by. Chocolate, coffee, pizza, steak, other European foods spring up in the mainland. People started to know that food and life were more that what we had tried.

During the visit of Italy in 1996, an Italian friend who owns some gelato shops invited the founder, Mr. Chen to his production place. He was impressed by the natural, fresh making and delicious artisan ice cream. After this visit, the shop owner came up with passion to bring his business into China .

His idea for gelato project in China inspired the founder make machine business as he had a very good background and interesting in engineering. With all struggling, efforts and technical help for Italian engineer, the first sample machines were finally finished in 1999. The realization of tasty gelato with these machines brought all of them satisfaction and determination to build up the factory.

After that, the company was established named 'MEHEN'. The word has the meaning of 'Beautiful forever'. It stands for all their impression for gelato and the determination to run this business as long as possible.

DEVELOPMENT

Since the first three machines in 1999, MEHEN started from 5 people to near 100 staffs already.

In 2006, the brand was registered and all department was reorganized. With its own R&D department, the products ranges cover batch freezers, pasteurizers, blast freezers, display cases, soft freezers, etc. The raw material and components suppliers are strictly evaluated and controlled by purchasing department.

The products have passed the European CE and USA ETL sanitation and safety standard , strictly following the regulations involved.

The products are both acknowledged eventually by the domestic and international market after so many years developing and growing in number of customers.

At present, we are cooperating with many good and famous ingredients suppliers world-widely, offer training courses and go to trade shows together.

MEHEN is also on developing the global re-sellers and distributors which can be easy for machine maintenance and offer our oversea customers with local service.
